Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, everyone!  It was my intent to do a doll Christmas story, today.  That was until, I started towards the doll room and realized it was f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g down there.  So I opted to let the puppies tell you Merry Christmas.

"How did she get them all to stay still for the picture?"  I'm sure someone is asking that question.  Well, well, well.  Don't let those innocent looks fool you.  It was not easy.  Out of about 30 pictures I took, this is the only one where they are all looking towards the camera.  Would you believe I forgot to put the flash on for this one?  Below are the other pictures leading up to this one.

Let the fight begin.

"I'm not going to look and you can't make me."  (Whitey)

"I'm out of here."  (Brownie)

"Oh no you don't!  Didn't you hear her say we are taking pictures."  (Whitey)

"Hey if I can't leave, neither can you Blackie."  (Brownie)

"I can't take this much longer."  (Brownie)

"If I give you one by myself, can I go play under the bed?"  (Brownie)

"Hey, where did everyone go?  I thought we were taking pictures."  (Spot)

"Wait... I see something to chew on."  (Blackie)

"I'm back.  How's this pose?"  (Blackie)

"Look, I found a slipper.  Can we put this in the picture?"  (Whitey)

"This is better for the Christmas picture.  It's green."  (Brownie)

"It's mine, Whitey."  (Brownie)

"No... you can't have it!"  (Brownie)

"All this picture taking is making us tired."  (Everyone)

"But not too tired to chew on a nose."  (Spot)

"Two can play that game."  (Blackie)

"Cheese."  (Whitey)

"You guys are so juvenile."  (Brownie)

"You want some of this?"  (Whitey)

"Is this almost over?  We've been at this for a long time."  (Whitey)

"I think we're going to take a little nap before we continue."  (Spot)

"Merry Christmas, peeps!  Catch us on the rebound."  (Blackie)

    1. Indy_Poppy - Thanks. The mom is miniature jack russell terrier. Goodness only knows what the dad is. I rescued her from the streets. I did hear the that dad wasn't much bigger than her, and that he was cute.

Got a non-puppy link for you in case you want another Morgan Freeman figure ....

P.S. deleted the earlier comment because the link was flat. I hadn't coded it to be clickable ;-P

  11. How can you stand to give up a single one now? They are all so adorable, and yes, ESPECIALLY Blackie. And now that I have seen that little white spot under Blackie's chin he's even more awesome.

    Merry Christmas!

    1. Muff - They are all adorable and if I lived on a farm, I would keep them all. All I have to do is think about vet bills times 6 and it's easier to find them new homes. Yes, that white patch appeared out of nowhere.

    1. Carrickters - We all had a wonderful quiet Christmas. The slipper is no longer in great shape, but that's my fault. I left it in their care for a few hours. It's okay. They were only $1.

  19. They are just so precious! I want to kiss them! ^o^ LOL!

I think it's funny that you love both doggies and dolls because that is not a great mix! LOL! The doggies could eat the dollies. :( But do you train them to not bother the dolls?

I hope you had a happy holidays. Mine wasn't so great.

    1. KenyaDoll - Sorry to hear about your Christmas. I've had dogs for over 20 years and they have never bothered my dolls. I didn't have to train them not to, they just never have. Even the newest dogs, Bruce and Buttercup, don't pay any attention to the dollies.
