Lauren's Niece, Angelica

"Hey guys.  I just wanted to introduce my niece, Angelica.  And this is her daughter, Nina."  (Lauren)

"Angelica came to town to go back to college.  She took a break from school when Nina was born.  I've convinced her that it's time to go back.  I've even agreed to help with Nina."  (Lauren)

"By the way, the whole family is getting together for dinner, so make sure you come back to see all the happenings.  Thanks for stopping by."  (Lauren)

    1. jewel snake - This family connection came to me at the last minute. It will be nice to have Angelica around. Lauren's dress is from an old Kari Mitchell fashion pack I bought from KB Toys.

    1. Heather - I cut Lauren's hair the minute I took her out the packaging. She had way too much hair for me in the beginning.

    2. Interesting, as she looks like she has the same length as when I deboxed her. I just curled up her roots a bit more and was much happier with the doll.

Lauren looks great. She must not have come with the top of her hair so flattened/straightened. :-) Love the dress, too.

    3. cosmodolitan - My Lauren had at least twice this much hair. I hated her with all that hair. Ths was the first time I cut hair on a doll right out the box. You can see mine in her box in this post. http://vansdolltreasures.blogspot.com/2012/04/crazy-target-sale.html. It's the very last picture

  7. And I had already wanted to post a new topical comment. Judging by the other comments, that baby doll must be familiar to your regular readers. Sorry that sometimes I sadly need a break (from doll blogs, dios and shopping) for my sanity! ...

But oh my that baby is soo cute and not in the too-cute-to-be-legit-Mattel way! She's great. What doll is she??

    1. cosmodollitan - This is my first time using this baby. She came with the I Can Be Nursery School Teacher playset from 2012. There were two kids her size, a doll, and a playground. Here is my blogpost about it. http://vansdolltreasures.blogspot.com/2012/10/new-playsets-found-at-grocery-store.html

  8. Hi Vanessa, just stopping by to say hello. James sends his regards! Sorry I haven't been posting lately. After that last fall and the injuries from it, I haven't felt like doing anything with all the pain. Getting better now! Hope you have been well. Take care...

Could You please make once a baby/girls size comparison? My characters will grow up soon and I have to make a decision what kind of babies/little girls to buy :) Thank You! :)
I think Angelica has a nice style and I can't wait her stories!

  11. Angelica's outfit is fierce. You sure you don't want to runway fashion. Because you dress the mess out of these dolls! Can't wait to get to know them.

    1. Sonya - I can't take credit for picking this outfit for her. I bought her at the doll show dressed like this. I named her Angelica after my granddaughter, who dresses in similar fashion.

    1. D7ana - I'm so happy I found a place for Angelica and Nina. I hate having great dolls sitting around doing nothing. Oh goodness. That just reminded me just how many great dolls are still just hanging out waiting to be seen.
