Chloe's Winnie-the-Pooh Nursery

I just finished the white crib for a customer.  She requested two crib sets, one of which is Winnie-the-Pooh.  So one of my babies got a Winnie-the-Pooh nursery so we could take proper pictures of the crib.

Michelle is partially dressed and getting ready to go meet her husband for dinner.  Her sister, Natalia, is there to babysit.  Michelle is taking time to put Chloe to bed.

"Are you tired now?  Is mommy's angel ready to go beddy bye?"  (Michelle)

{gurgling baby sounds that are turning into a whine}

"Alright.  Alright.  Let's get you out of there."  (Michelle)

"There you go.  Come to momma."  (Michelle)

Michelle grabs a blanket off the shelf.

Michelle starts singing a lullabye to Chloe.  Chloe is all smiles.  She loves the sound of her mother's voice.

Natalia enters the room with Mikayla on her back.

"Shouldn't you be leaving now?  I can put her down, if you want."  (Natalia)

"No.  I still have a little time.  I don't have to be there for another hour, and it's right downtown."  (Michelle)

"In that case, I'll go ahead and give Mikayla her bath now."  (Natalia)
"How did she do with her dinner?"  (Michelle)

"Half of it ended up on the floor."  (Natalia)
"Mikayla!"  (Michelle)

"Make sure she gets one of those fruit cups later.  She's going through a picky eater stage and I'm concerned she's not getting enough to eat."  (Michelle)
"Okay.  Well we're off."  (Natalia)

"Giddy up horsey."  (Mikayla)
"Well now you're going a little too far."  (Natalia)
Mikayla starts laughing hysterically.

Michelle gets back to the task at hand.  She starts by feeding Chloe.

Next is burping.

And finally it's time for bed.
"Nighty night angel.  I love you."  (Michelle)

Lights out.
It won't take long before Chloe is fast asleep.

Below are two other crib sets I made.  I wanted to show how they look in the white crib versus the stained crib.

  8. The cribs are beautiful and very well made. You should try a Peter Rabiit theme too (it's the one of my real nursery :) )

    1. V - Thanks. I'm always on the lookout for perfectly scaled theme fabric, but it's hard to come by. I haven't seen any Peter the Rabbit fabric, but I will keep my eyes open.

  9. I love the cribs and the crib sets! I see you've been busy making babies, too. No pun intended. Maybe I missed a post or two where the baby was featured, but this is my first time seeing Chloe. Great job (as usual).

    1. DBG - First let me say, I didn't make that baby. I bought that one one Ebay a couple years ago. I asked the seller back then if she could make some AA ones. She tried, but couldn't get it right. That's why I've set out to make myself a few AA babies. You know I don't have time to be making no babies. Real or fake. Chloe has made a few stories before.

Thanks for the crib compliments. The buyer has wondered about a matching changing table. Back to the drawing board to design a changing table.

    2. LOL @ no time to be making no babies.

Yes you do. You have time to create everything else under the sun. I can visualize the changing table that you're planning to make next.

  11. Hi Vanessa! I loved the story, your cribs, and bedding. Like you, I love baby stuff. I have since my teenage years. I found myself in TJMaxx today looking at the most adorable baby shoes. I couldn't figure out who I could buy them for so sadly they stayed at the store! Anyway, just wanted to say awesome, awesome, awesome! :)

    1. veda - Thanks. I won't tell you how many real baby clothes are here in my house. When I made lifesize porcelain dolls, I had an excuse for buying cute baby stuff. I just sent my stepdaughter, who's expecting a little boy this month, about 30 baby outfits. Most of them new that had been hanging up for the past 10 yrs. LOL!

    1. Vernette - You are too funny! Oh the pressure. Now I'm going to feel horrible thinking your poor customers are not getting your best service. LOL! The doll stories are a little slow because I'm trying to spend a little time fixing up the new town. I keep pushing things to the side so I can do stories, then I have another big mess and no time to straighten it up. I promise I will get something up today.

As for the nickname... Do you know how hard it is keeping track of all the dolls I have. Now you want to add nicknames. I don't think so. ROFL!

  19. I don't know how you manage to do all of this and create such beautiful stories too. Love the cribs and the room. I have been trying to get my blog up and moving, but since I have run out of room upstairs, I am moving my doll stuff to the finished basement. I have a lot of things I need to move around and clean us down there though. I will probably start by introducing my main characters. I will be having surgery on the 28th, so probably won't do any moving of things until after that.

    1. Phyllis - Let's just say I have some really long days and nights working to get it all done. I've been selling my pens on the side, too. I'm trying to do more of that. There's a larger market for the pens. Your basement situation sounds very similar to mine. I just wish I could hire someone to come and get it all done, but they wouldn't know what to do with my extra doll stuff, either. Good luck, and I hope your surgery goes well! Let me know when you start blogging again, just in case I miss it.
