Nighty Night (Photostory)

After the baby shower, Vanessa and Alicia picked up some dinner to bring home.  After dinner with the family, Alicia gets a little play time before bed.

Alicia has enlisted Bruce to be her doll for the day.

"Are you torturing poor Bruce?"  (Vanessa)

"He's my baby."  (Alicia)
"Okay.  Well it's time to get ready for bed."  (Vanessa)

"Come here.  Mommy  wants to thank you for being such a good girl, today.  Did you have fun?"  (Vanessa)
"YES!"  (Alicia)

"Let's get these shoes off.  I want to see those cute little toes."  (Vanessa)
"Brucey, where you going?"  (Alicia)

Vanessa gets Alicia dressed in her pjs, then heads to the bathroom to wash her face and hands.  

"Mommy I washed my hands."  (Alicia)
"Yes, now they are nice and clean, and you are all ready for bed."  (Vanessa)

"Put your legs under the covers."  (Vanessa)

Keith enters the room to say goodnight.

"Hi, Daddy!"  (Alicia)
"Hi, Licia"  (Keith)
"Lay down."  (Vanessa)

"Mommy, I want to watch Dora."  (Alicia)

"No movie tonight.  Daddy's going to read you a story."  (Vanessa)

"Nighty night.  Sleep tight.  I wuv you, with all my heart."  (Vanessa)
"I wuv you, Mommy."  (Alicia)

"She's all yours.  I'm going to check on Tyler."  (Vanessa)

"Daddy, read me the animal book."  (Alicia)
"One animal book coming up."  (Dad)


"Don't forget to make animal noises."  (Alicia)
"I will do my best.  Close your eyes."  (Dad)

    Oh what a cute story! I use to make my cat my baby. I would put clothes on it and everything. My mom would say that me and the cat were crazy. Did you make the bed? I was looking through the Toys R Us ads the other day. What did I see,....a crib just like the one you made but bigger! Are you working for Toys R Us now? ;)

      Ms. Leo - Thanks. I'm surprised your cat allowed you put the clothes on. They are usually opposed to that idea. No I didn't make the bed, I altered it. It is a miniature trundle bed that I changed the sheets and added the railing, which is a miniature doll house stair railing. LOL, no I'm not working for TRU.

    Love the room! I'm obsessed with pastels...and Minnie Mouse too for that matter. You always right your children in such a real way that I can't help but love them. :)

      Alura - Thanks. I fell in love with Minnie Mouse after meeting her in Disneyworld. So it's not a surprise that my dolly daughter loves her, too.

    Hello from Spain: Alicia is very cute. I really like the toy stroller. Alicia's wardrobe is fabulous. I also like the wallpaper. It is a very real and tender. The father reads a story to her daughter before bed ... wow, wow ... fabulous. Keep in touch

      Marta - Thanks. That stroller was a Christmas ornament. Sometimes Alicia gets videos, but they try to limit her tv time.

    My favorite photo is where Keith and Vanessa hold hands before Vanessa goes to check on Tyler.

    Alicia's room is adorable. I like the Disney-themed rooms for the kiddies ;-)

    This is a cute story. And Bruce is obviously a very tolerant dog to let Alicia use him as her doll. I hope her dad makes all the right animal noises for her story.
