Poppy's and a Mini-story

Martina and Polly found the local hair salon and got spruced up to go tour Morristown.  Martina is wearing a Barbie Basic outfit and Polly is wearing a LIV outfit.

Barbie shoes don't fit very well, but I made it work.

This is the jewelry set that came with Polynesia.  Very nice!

Here is the clutch handbag and shoes that came with Polynesia.  Both are well done.  The bag does open very similar to a real clutch.

Spain didn't come with jewelry but here are her handbag and shoes.

Most of the guests, including Nathaniel and Kendra, have left the baby shower.  Nikki, Darius, Racquel, and Terrance have been conversing.  Lauren, Racquel's mom, is still there but she's been pretty quiet.

"So we should probably get out of here.  It's getting late."  (Nikki)
"Are you guys interested in getting a bite to eat?"  (Darius)
"That sounds good."  (Terrance)

"Honey, I need to go now.  Your father is waiting for me back at the house."  (Lauren)
"Why don't you invite him to come to dinner with us?"  (Racquel)
"Let me see what he says."  (Lauren)

Back on the other side of the room, Camille and her daughters are taking a breather.

"Well girls, we did it.  Thanks.  You all did a wonderful job."  (Camille)

"So I guess we need to finish taking down the decorations and removing the tablecloths."  (Grace)
"Oh don't worry about that.  I paid the extra clean up charge."  (Camille)
"Good, because I am ready to go put my feet up."  (Grace)

Kourtney is busy trying to pop the balloons.  We all know if she is successful at doing so, she is going to scare poor Tinia.

  2. Can't wait to see how the Poppy's fit into your doll world and who gets the pleasure of meeting them first! What are you going to name them?

    1. Connor - I put their names in the post. Spain is Martina, and the other one is Polly. Martina has already met one guy. Hope she likes him long enough to introduce him to everyone. He has been seen in Morristown before, but he never hooked up with anyone.

    1. Grandmommy - Yes, these are the Barbie sized ones. I no longer buy the 16" dolls.

  4. Your new dolls' accessories are lovely. It will be interesting to see their story unfold. It was very wise of Camille to pay the extra clean up charge, they've done a lot of work and will be very tired. Great party though.

    1. Georgia Girl - I know they are addictive, but they are so hard to get, I can't imagine that I will be getting many more. I have vowed not to join the Wclub, so luckily that makes it a little harder to get those Poppys.

  10. Poor Tinia, I was always scared of popping balloons as a kid too, so I feel for her!

I love the Poppys, they're so pretty :)
I wonder how they'll fit in with the rest of the Morristown residents?

    1. Heather - I can still hear that popping balloon sound. Still kind of scary for me. We will be seeing the Poppy's later today sometime.

  11. I cant tell because of their lashes, but is one Poppy looking forward an one sideways? They look so happening in their casual clothes.

    1. Muff - Spain is looking ahead, and Polynesia has a slight glance to the right. I took the eye position in consideration when I chose them. For $90 I didn't want to repaint any eyes, and I need my dolls looking forward.
