I'm hoping to post a story next time. I don't know who's bright idea it was to move Morristown. LOL! Just kidding. I'm still happy I did it, but getting everything back in order is taking a little time and a lot of patience.
Van's Doll Treasures primarily features Barbie and other fashion dolls her size. I make and sell 1/6 scale doll furniture for Barbie and Ken. The link to my Etsy shop is available on the right hand side. I prepare dioramas and videos that feature my doll families.

Interestingly, mine too! You did such a great job, I thought they were real! Loving it!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Kitty & Mummy
Loretta - Thanks! Great minds think alike.
DeleteOk those are too darling. I have to make some in 1:12. You make some syrup to sop them up with? LOL
ReplyDeleteGrandmommy - Thanks. Yes, we have syrup, butter, jam. Just name your pleasure.
DeleteThose are so great! They're making me really hungry.
ReplyDeletesisilovessinging - Thanks!
DeleteDelicious looking!
ReplyDeleteGeorgia Girl - Thanks! If you start seeing my dolls bulging out of their clothes, you will know why.
Deletei love them they look great!
ReplyDeletejassica joe - Thanks! I was really happy the way they turned out.
DeleteMmmm they look so yummy!! Here where I live we use to eat "torrijas" in this time of the year. I found the recipe in English for you http://www.spain-recipes.com/torrijas.html
ReplyDeletethough at home we do it slightly different, and use white wine instead of milk hehehehe
Rossetti - Thanks! I went to that site. Lots of Spanish recipes. I only wish they had more pictures. Torrijas sounds very interesting. Your version with the white wine sounds a little more interesting than the milk version. LOL.
DeleteOld Joe says, get the strawberry preserves out and he'll be there ;-D He has a fondness for rolls and drop biscuits slathered with butter and sweetened fruit.
ReplyDeleteD7ana - Tell Old Joe, I will have his plate ready when he arrives. Who doesn't have a fondness for rolls, drop biscuits with butter and fruit. I gained a pound just typing that.
DeleteI'm learning so much about american cuisine from your doll food. It sounds like you eat these the way we eat scones. Brown'n serve rolls here are a different shape and are usually served with butter and eaten with soup or a main course. Yours look delicious.
ReplyDeleteCarrickters - And I'm learning so much about Australian cuisine. For the most part these rolls are served just like yours, with butter and part of a meal. I eat them mainly with turkey, but they are good with just about everything.
DeleteThose look great! ... and they're making me hungry... and the Neemos are getting hungry too. XD
ReplyDeleteHeather - Thanks! Make sure you are feeding the Neemos well.
DeleteThrow some frozen strawberries and some milk on those and I will be good to go. Yummy in my tummy!
ReplyDeleteMuff - You guys are schooling me on the fine art of Brown 'n Serve rolls. Who knew?
DeleteI haven't eaten brown 'n serve rolls in years. These these really look authentic. All I need are the rolls fresh from the oven, a butter knife to cut a slit in each, and a pat of butter to insert into the slit to melt inside. Yum... yum...
ReplyDeleteI no longer eat these or any white bread, but I do have my memories. Thanks for the awakening.
:-)

DBG - Yes, that butter would just melt and oooh weee! Delicious. Glad I could bring back such memories.
