Peach Cobbler and Lemon Meringue Pie

I can't seem to stop cooking and baking.  At least in 1/6 scale.  I was feeling like a little dessert, so I made the dolls a peach cobbler and a lemon meringue pie.  Mmmm.  Mmmm.  You guys are going to have to bear with me on this food thing.  I have to run with this doll cooking thing while I'm inspired to create new dishes.

Peach cobbler.  I can almost taste it.

This was me prepping the peaches and the crust.

Lemon meringue pie.

On another note, I did start painting the pink Victorian house.  I have most of the outside and part of the inside primed.  I'm trying to take my time and do a good job, so it will be a little while before we see the progress.

  1. Vanessa, these pies look good enough to eat...you are sooo creative! A secret reveal just between the two of us...Lovey doesn't take anything off Kitty! It will all come out in the wash later...So don't worry about my "Boobie"...ok?

    1. Loretta - I thought about you when I made that peach cobbler. I still have your recipe waiting for me to make it. I'm glad Lovey is okay. You know I get worried about sibling rivalry.

    1. Tracy - Thanks! I am a Chef Ramsey fan after seeing him on shows other than Hell's Kitchen. He's not as brash on some of the other shows.

    1. Grandmommy - Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to that peach cobbler and we will both be set. Mmmm. Mmmm. I would say get to crackin' on that list, but since I know you are in miniature doll house mode, I won't hound you....yet.

    1. Roville - LOL! Your dolls must know that dolly food is calorie free. They are so lucky in so many ways. Eat what they want. The best shoes and clothes. Houses made at a snap of the fingers. Dolly life is the life!

    1. Claude - Thanks! Maybe tomorrow you can have some dessert. Just a little taste. France has such wonderful pastries. At least that's what it looks like on tv.

    1. Muff - Thanks! For me, cobbler is one of those desserts you have to make at home. My mom used to throw down on some peach cobbler. I haven't had any in awhile.
