Target BOGO Sale!!!

I stopped by Target today to look at a dutch oven pot.  Why didn't someone tell me all the Barbie and Disney stuff was buy one get one 50% off?!  Did I miss someone's blog post about this?  Anyway, Merry Christmas to me.  Not only did they have the BOGO sale, which is good through tomorrow, but this particular Target had some Barbie stuff on clearance.  I know the clearance items aren't the same at all the stores, but the BOGO is.

Finally got these two.  They were on sale for $29.99 (originally $34.99) and with the BOGO, I got the pair for just under $45.  This worked out perfectly since I was kicking myself for letting them sell out at BC.com.

All the regular clothed Barbie Basics were on clearance for $10.44.  So one of these was $5.22.  I always wanted those outfits, but not at $21.99.  It helps that I really like both these dolls.

The swimsuit BBs were on clearance for $9.44.  So I got this pair for under $15.

They had both Tim Gunn outfits, but I only wanted the jacket.  The Barbie closet was on sale for $22, so I got it for $11.

I know some didn't like the pictured accessories, but I do.  Less to knock over when shooting pictures.

All of the BB accessory packs, including the new ones from the swimsuit dolls, were on clearance for $7.48.  So I got the pair for about $11.  I couldn't believe they still had both the old Target sets.  These were the only two I didn't already have.

This was on my doorstep when I woke up this morning.  The new Kara set from Amazon.

So if there is a doll(s) you have been waiting to go on sale, this may be your chance to get it.  I am personally thrilled to have found these goodies.  I never made it to the kitchen department to look at that pot.  I went straight from the toy department to the register.  So sad.  I need to start attending those Dolly Anonymous meetings again.  LOL.

  1. I'm actually kind of glad I spent all my money now LOL. I do NOT need more girls 'round here, espicially since the ones already here don't get along well with each other LOL.

  2. Congratulations, Vanessa. I knew Target was having a BOGO 50% off Barbie sale, but did not write a blog post about it.

I browsed my store's aisles earlier this week when I was there for something else but left empty handed. I purchased on the the Tim Gunn fashions a few weeks ago when they were having a similar sale. There weren't any clearance items there this week, unless I overlooked them.

You on the other hand, cleaned up. Congratulations again.

  3. DBG - It worked out perfectly. I usually stop at the Target near the clinic. But this time I decided to stop by the one closer to home. I'm sure the other one wouldn't have had all of these items. It will be a fun deboxing/organizing weekend.

  4. Congrats Vanessa! Nice haul there. I wish I'd known about the 50% sale. I would've hopped in my car and hightailed it to Gainesville in a heartbeat! Seems I always blow my bank account in Target when I go because I do find so many dolls and accessories I like. Enjoy!

    1. Cindi - You still have time. The sale doesn't end until tomorrow. Not that I'm trying to entice you or anything. When you say the Target in Gainesville, are you referring to the one right off 985, near the Ross and TJMaxx? If you are, I stop by that one about once a month on my way back from my doctor in Gainesville.

    2. It's the one off Shallowford Road right next to WalMart, but it's pretty close to the shopping center that includes Publix and Ross. It's right down the street from Lakeshore Mall. I think the Target you're talking about is in Oakwood?

    3. Cindi - We will have to meet up one day in 2013.

    5. By the way, I think the Target you're talking about is in Flowery Branch. That's the one right off 985.

  5. Very nice haul Vanessa! Okay, I am going to go by there tomorrow. I am still looking for the red BB's for their clothes. I hope I find some tomorrow.

  8. Congratulations! I have been to two different Targets this week but they weren't as well stocked. I got one of the red, Target exclusive Basics accessories packs for $7.48 at the first Target. They were $10 at the second Target so I didn't get the other one. Also have you ever noticed how the SIS dolls disappear from the Barbie aisle whenever these sales are on?

    1. limbe dolls - I couldn't believe how well this one was stocked. To be honest, the three Targets I most frequently haven't had SIS dolls in a long time. I typically see them at Walmart. Rarely Target.

  9. I'm coming to the DA meeting too. My Target had everything but in the end, I got 1 BB RED doll and a clothing pack. I know...not very exciting but in the budget! I need a meeting b/c I'm sitting here thinking about going back and getting the other things I want! Lol... Addiction!

    1. veda - I'll see you at the meeting! Glad you were able to get a couple of goodies. Don't you hate when you make a great decision not to buy, then regret it? That is one of the worse feelings. But that is truly a sign of addiction.

    1. Muff - Sorry I didn't get to you guys sooner, but I rushed right home and did the post. I initially thought the sale was ending on Friday night, so I was happy some would get Saturday to shop. Hope your store has some good clearance items.

  13. Bonjour Vanessa,
oui c'est en promotion à Target et je n'ai rien acheté cette fois-ci car j'avais déjà une TimGunn (celle en jupe) et le manteau.

    Hello Vanessa,
yes it is on promotion at Target and I have not bought anything this time because I already had a TimGunn (the skirt) and the black coat.

    1. Rossetti - I completely understand. I still can't believe I got all of those at such great deals. It was perfect timing on my part. I stopped by that Target today and the Barbie stuff was cleaned out. It's a good thing I was looking for a new pot. I never would have stopped there, otherwise.

  15. I've been looking everywhere for that Kara doll set for months. I've seen pix online but I never saw it in any stores. Hopefully I can find her on Amazon as well. I swear the black barbies are the hardest to find and they make the least of them.

    1. Tiffany - Thanks for visiting my blog. I recently saw this Kara set at one of my Walmarts. I usually buy the SIS sets from Amazon. It is very hard to find the SIS sets in the local stores. Some will carry them, some will not. Good luck finding it.

    2. I know!!! The SIS sets are so hard to find. I don't know if Mattel isn't producing enough or they sell out that quick. Thanks for the advice.

    3. Tiffany - I think they produce a lot, but some stores and areas choose not to carry them or restock them once they run out. Quite a few of them showed up in discount stores like Big Lots a couple of years ago. Mattel.com or was that Barbiecollector.com sold quite a few of them at deep discounts a little over a year ago.
