I Made an Apple Pie for the Dance...

But it turned out so well, I decided to sell it in my Etsy Store.  Don't worry, I remembered that I have a really nice store bought (Rement) apple pie that I will use at the dance. LOL.

Here is the finished pie, complete with lattice topping.

There are actual apples under all of the crust.  And yes, the apples were nicely carmelized during the baking process.
Camille is getting ready to serve Grace a nice healthy piece.

  4. TM, Loretta, and Frannie - Thanks! That's how I keep my weight down. I make the good stuff for the dolls and somehow I am satisfied without ever needing to take a bite.

  5. so that's your pie in the pic, right? not re-ment? your stuff truly rivals re-ment or I wouldn't bother asking. the pic you took of the apples inside, that is before you cooked it, right? the lattice no longer comes off? or it does? What is your fav polymer clay brand? Do you paint after cooking at all?

  6. kristl - yes that's my pie. I didn't take a pic of the rement. Yes, I showed the apples before I added all the nice gooey stuff that makes it so sweet. Tne lattice doesn't come off anymore. I just wanted people to see that there are actual apple slices under the lattice. FIMO is probably my favorite brand. It's firm, but not too firm. I also like Premo, but sometimes it gets too soft. Most of my coloring is added before I bake. I am still experimenting with different techniques.

  7. Me, I'm a sucker for tea sets. I really like the one Camille and Grace are using. I'm sure these refined ladies won't get any sticky crumbs on those lovely accent chairs!

  8. Limbe dolls - I am a sucker for tea sets, too! I have a whole collection in my dining room of big and small tea sets. There are tea sets throug out the house as well. The Langfords would never have sticky fingers!

    Georgia Girl - Thanks!
