The Taylor Family at the Beach

In the last video the Taylors were spending the day on the beach. I thought we would pay them a visit to see how things are going.

The girls seem to be practicing their gymnastics.

Little Kenaz has been trying to get sand in the bucket, unsuccessfully I might add.

Antoinette is relaxing and keeping an eye on the kids.
"Honey, what are you looking at?"

"The surfers. The waves are pretty intense out there."

Antoinette knows he probably has an eye full of bikinis, but that doesn't bother her. She is very secure in her marriage.

"Kids, it's time for lunch."

"Darn. I forgot the napkins."

"Mommy, I'm hungry."
"Would you like an orange, banana, or grapes?"
"Orange, please."

"Kenaz, that's not yours."

"Dad, I'm thirsty. Can I have some of your soda?"
"Your mom has your drink."

"Thanks, honey."

Tony can't wait to sink his teeth into the smoked turkey and cheese sandwich.
Kenaz is very content with his grapes.

Nikaya wasn't successful in getting any soda. She had to settle for the water mom brought for her.

Zahara is trying to navigate her orange and cheese sandwich without getting them covered with sand.

With all the hustle and bustle of all the visitors at the beach house, it's good to just spend time with the immediate family.

  1. Vanessa, every time you make food...I get hungry! LOL. Those sandwiches look so good, I made a quick Subway run across the street before making my comment.

Antoinette is gorgeous! She's one of the prettiest Janay dolls I've seen. As for the bikinis...Tony knows about the 80/20 rule no doubt. LOL

    Can't wait to see more.

  2. Tracy - I did this photostory for 2 reasons. 1)It took me so long to make those sandwiches and fruit that I wanted to make sure they got seen. 2)Didn't want to take up anytime in the next video with this part of the story. Danielle and Rods date need all the time they can get.

Chances are Tony is just looking at the surfers. He is so in love with Antoinette. He's not going to mess that up.

  3. The Taylor family is having a good time at the beach!

I agree with Tracy India, Antoinette is gorgeous. I momentarily thought, "I need a Janay," but then remembered I aready have two. I need to start enjoying them (outside their boxes, at least one of them).

I sent an email to your gmail address, but it may have gone to spam or perhaps you didn't recognize it was from me. I used my main email address me...@sbc

  4. DBG - Isn't it funny how you can see someone else's doll and realize how pretty she is. I have 4 more Janays. They are all different. I wouldn't mind incorporating them in some of the stories. Trust me, a lot of these dolls look so much better out of those boxes.

By the way, I just checked my spam and your email was there. I will take a look and respond.

  5. I like Janay dolls also. They are good for making families with teenager kids. I love Asha mold Barbies, but they usually look too young to be teenagers' mothers and Janays don't. I have all existing AA Skipper dolls (9 of them), almost all AA Teen Skipper/Nikki dolls, all Flavas Tre dolls, one Flavas Kiyoni doll (want to buy more), HSM Chad and Taylor dolls (going to have Zeke and other Chad doll also) and some other AA teen dolls. And many of them still need parents. :)

  6. Dukasha - Yes the Janay dolls look like older parents. That's why I gave her 3 kids. I have an AA Chad doll. He lives with his dad. I will have to post a picture of them soon. I am a little miffed that Mattel hasn't come out with any new AA Skippers or Stacies. Not sure what's going on there. I've been meaning to ask them about that. Wow! You sure have a lot of teenagers over there. Hope they aren't causing you too many sleepless nights. Those teenagers can be a handful. LOL.

  7. Yes, I also want Mattel to make new AA Skipper and Stacie dolls, especially Stacies, because the new Stacie doll is bigger than old Stacies, but smaller than Skipper or HSM. She is in the size of Juku Couture or BFC dolls, it's an interesting size, I like it. I also want Mattel to make Stacie's friends, her brother Todd and AA Todd of this size, but I don't really hope they will do something like that...
Teenagers really give me a lot of trouble because they fall from their shelf regularly. :) Well, frankly speaking all my dolls do the same. :D I have too many of them and their shelves have already become small for such a crowd. :)

  8. I love the food. Your post make me hungery. Tony has a great suit. I don't remember seeing it before. Who is it by? I like that he has hands. I switch out the hands when I am doing shoots. The kids are soo cute!

  9. Ms. Leo - I have to make a lot of doll food, because I can't afford real food. ROTFL! I can't remember if I mixed 2 suits for Tony. I think it was just one or two of those Ken/Mattel outfits. Not really sure. I actually borrowed Rod's hands for the shot. Since they weren't going to be in the shot together, I said what the heck. I think eventually I will order him a pair of hands.

  10. Ok, so I can't sleep for some reason tonight and thought I'd look at more doll blogs when I noticed...Tony has new hands? Is it as easy as popping off the gloved hands and popping on new hands? I'm eying a Power Team guy but I'm sort of put off by the gloves. Do tell. :)

  11. Tracy - It really is that easy, but you have to have a second set of hands. Tony borrowed Rod's hands since they weren't going to be in the same shot. Darius has extra hands, but they are too small for those guys. I've been up half the night too. I am now going to step away from the computer and do my exercises. Wish me luck!
