It's Here! It's Here!

And it's huge!  So what's in the box you ask?  My New Bright Hummer.

When I got home yesterday and I saw this box, I fell out laughing.  I knew how big the Hummer was, but seeing it in this box made it seem even larger.

It's a beautiful burgundy color.  It's not metallic like the PT Cruiser, but still very nice.

This car also belongs to the Taylor family.....

Tony and Antoinette Taylor.  You didn't think Tony was going to let his brother outdo him with a new vehicle.  One final check under the hood and he is ready to go.

The hardest part about any Hummer, real or fake, is the high step into it.

Tony doesn't have any problem getting in.
"Hey Tony, can you pop the trunk so I can show the people what it looks like back there?"  (Me)
"Sure.  No problem."  (Tony)

Plenty of storage space.

This vehicle also has working seatbelts.

And a beautiful dashboard.  I forgot to get a picture of the backseat, but we will see it soon.

Tony is on his way to pick up the kids and then head to the bakery to see his wife, Antoinette.

There are at least two 1/6 scale New Bright Hummers out there for sale.  One where the doors open, like this one, and one where the doors do not open at all.  In the next post I will try to get a comparison picture of the New Bright vehicles versus the Barbie vehicles for a size comparison.

    1. Ladonna - I spent the day at my friend's house. Every time I turned around I found another cool car. It's nice to have at least one of my own. It's also nice to be able to borrow hers whenever I need them.

  6. Sweet ride! It would be nice to get something closer to real proportion for my dolls to drive, even though it's enormous.

    1. Jewell - It's nice to have one of my own. I can't believe how many of these vehicles my friend actually has. I found her Porsche when I was there on Friday. It's now sitting in my dining room. I found two additional vehicles, but left them there for the time being. There are still a few more to discover as we continue going through boxes.

    1. Georgia Girl - I really like the burgundy color, too. I normally see this one in black, so it was nice to get the more vibrant color.

    1. Phyllis - There will be a couple other families that will enjoy this vehicle. I haven't decided who, yet. Taylor family one and two may need to take a little road trip.

  10. I love it! Big A... car! I have only seen the ones where the doors don't open in the thrift stores! Wamp wamp! Such a let down! I totally agree about the step but Tony (with the help of Vanessa) will have steps for the family!

You need a pre post auto show post! Vanessa, I know you have enough cars, a few dolls in slinky dresses, balloons with families looking on. Just saying!

    BTW, any customizing planned?

    1. Ms. Leo - I like your idea of an auto show post. I could have the luxury side and the regular side.

I won't be customizing my own New Bright cars. The resale value on these items are too good. Not to mention, I love them just the way they are.
